ARTIST STATEMENT

My goal as an artist is to divulge into the deepest, darkest, and ever-changing perspectives of the audience's mind. To provoke emotion from the subjects of my artwork that goes beyond what is being portrayed on the surface. All while, attempting to showcase the subliminal messaging based upon the similarities of my socio-economic background. From playfulness to deeply spiritual -- my work can be best described as an attempt to answer the question: How can you describe the duality of Man?

BIO

Jeff Roberson is a visual artist and photographer based in Atlanta, GA by way of Mobile, AL. While growing up in Mobile, Jeff began drawing at a very young age. Heavily influenced by cartoons, comic book heroes, and the hip hop of his era, he began using art as a tool to become the mastermind in his own creative world. Thus, constantly looking forward to the challenge of exploring all the aspects of creativity that run deep inside his mind.
